If a person enjoys what they learn and do, he or she will be able to learn quickly and work cheerfully. If the person is forced by the financial factor to learn what he or she do not wish to, he or she will not be able to excel in the subject. Because financial status is a concern for many, the career can depend on the salary. The career based on salary will contain the preferred subject of one person. Certain jobs require a specific education path and prerequisites, so the decision of a major should be carefully contemplated. If one decides to change the major based on salary, there will not technically be an increase in benefits. By switching the education path, a student may have to extend his education plans, piling more debts.
Why should salary prevent a person from getting their dream job? Anyone would prefer to be happy at work everyday rather than earn more money but be bored and unhappy. If one is going to be working a job for the rest of one’s life, one would want to do something they like. The American Dream states that anything is possible if you work hard.
