Because of these words, many people come from far away countries for a better life in America. The dreams of wealth and opportunities attract many people from afar to leave their home, family, and culture to start a new life in the United States. Being an American citizen gives many immigrants benefits not seen in other countries. The "Land of Opportunity" offers many people laws or rights like voting, freedom of speech, and privacy.
