I would love to participate in an ISSLP because I enjoy service, want to improve my language and culture fluency, and develop more as a person. The ISSLP will allow me to do all three. During high, at my new school, I was introduce to service work and quickly fell in love. I worked in a variety of areas and organization and learned a great number of things about life, my community, and myself. Unfortunately, I have been unable to perform as much volunteer work as I would like to, which is why I'm seeking out summer opportunities. In addition to engaging in service, I would also be engaging in a specific type of service I'm passionate about that will serve valuable for my career goals.
