Yesterday February 25, I met my former teacher Christine Holloway at ELS. I remembered when the first time that I came to ELS. I didn’t know ant thing about English language. She was my best teacher ever because she helped me a lot with language. After a year, I had interview with her at large class room at Wirtz Hall 324. So, the room was really lightly. There were six three tall tables, and three table in right and the other three are on the lift. So, we sat in the lift in the first table, and she wore glasses and her hair was brown and curly hair. Also, she looked very happy when she saw me that I am doing interview with her after one year no see.

DeKalb has certain population of Mexican American. They bring to them their food, music, and culture. Moreover, she is an English teacher at ELS, and she have taught international adult for three years. She teaches grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, reading and writing. So, she usually works about 20 hours a week, which half a day, and she works morning only. She chose that because she loves teaching people language, but it is only about three years’ taught international students. She had very happy childhood here in DeKalb. Her father worked and her mother was able to stay at the house with their children. In addition, they had swimming pool in back yard. So, in the summer, they swam a lot, and she was creative kid, she made stories, and she acted out all the time. She road her bike and the roil skit; she had a lot of freedom and she was safe. So, she had a good childhood. Her favorite movie is “Wizard of us”; it is old movie in 1930s about girl who picked up in house by tornado, and the house dropped down. So, the girl got up in magic land, and it has been her favorite movie in her life because it was fun when she was kid. She shares it with her daughters and she still likes the message in the movie is you might want to go here and there, but there is no place like home.
However, her wedding day was not typical for an American because her husband and she both raised in Catholic Church, but as they get older, they broke away from it. Also, they are no longer religious. Therefore, her husband and she was married in court house by judge. Her husband’s sister was there, and also her parents were there as well. They had small kind in usual quiet wedding.
To sum up, I thanked her a lot of her time with me, and she was really happy for that interview. The interview was very good with a lot of direct answers with beautiful words from her, all her responds was really
