My story, Escape, is a science fiction action thriller about a group of friends trying to save their captured friend, Samie. Samie and her friends are a group of teens that have special abilities they call powers. Only a select few are born with these abilities. If the Searchers know about their power, they will remove that citizen. Their powers are abused and used to further suppress the society. Paulie and the others will go to any lengths to save Samie, but does that mean losing someone one else in the process? I believe that my story should be made into a movie for multiple reasons. For starters, Action is the third most popular movie genre. Many people enjoy a fast-paced movie that grabs their attention. My story does this in a way that will pull watcher into the story and keep them captivated. It’s science fiction elements will also assist in this as well. While big novels cost more to make of, short stories require fewer scenes. Also, one of the complaints for fans is when parts story are cut out or done incorrectly. By having a shorter storyline it is easier to include all of the plot. When more people are satisfied with something, they usually tell other people about it and encourage them to go or to do it. Some might say that my short is too short, and it will leave viewers feeling like they are missing part of the story. Many readers of Escape would disagree. They felt it was a wonderful story and many have asked for it to be turned into a film. If needed, we can simply accommodate for the people disagree with their claim and add a quick backstory and/or an epilog. As you can see, my story, Escape would do excellently as a movie. It’s genre, fan base, and length will all support it in its success. J.K Rowling when to at least 9 publishers before someone finally published her famous series, Harry Potter. Bartleby, the Scrivener: Script vs. Film Numerous of classical literary works and stories have been converted into movies and films which involves films and illusions. It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words. However, caution is and should be taken during the conversions to ensure that the original content is retained. This first story I wanted to focus on my writing. I always find it difficult coming up with a story for my readers to read and follow. I tried to set the plot as my second concern, and write good sentences and put into practice what I’ve learned. Lately I’ve been writing weird, dream like stories. One of the biggest feedbacks I got from this last year with a different story was to let the readers know ahead of time what is going on.…

It’s been almost a year exactly since The Force Awakens rekindled my dormant love for the Star Wars franchise. In that time, my fanboyness for this universe has reclaimed a spot with superheroes and The Lord of the Rings as some of my favorite things on the world. Despite that love, I was among the people who were skeptical of Rogue One, the first film set outside the saga proper. Simply put, I thought it would be pretty good. I was wrong.…

The story that I did was Breaker’s Dilemma and I think my personal connection to that story is that I have gotten random emails or texts that says subscribe to us or have you looked at our new product. And I usually ignore then in which that is what I did in that story. And I used the decisions in that story to relate to what happened to me in real life. Most of the decisions that I made in the story did relate to my life because there was a girl trying to flirt with Breaker and that has happened to me with a boy then I tried to ignore it then they just kept sending me text so I soon reported it to have the person stop.…

A movie created in 1992 captured the mindset of many kids in a plot line that brings humor, creativity and inspiration to all ages is known as The Mighty Ducks. Although this feel-good movie made by Disney did not satisfy the movie critics, it did provide a great family movie. The plot was included a relatable and realistic story, which made this movie excellent in the Literary and Dramatic categories. On the other hand, the Cinematic aspect of this movie did lack compared to other movies because this movie is from the 1990s and does not meet up to today’s movie standards. Yet, The Mighty Ducks does create an exciting and happy mood for the viewer.…

If James Dashner’s book “The Eye of Minds” was made into a movie, it would be a lot like the series The Maze Runner, a recent high action adventure movie. If I was going to create this movie, I would include the Battle of Greenland, the first fight scene between the main character (Michael) and the main villain, Kaine, “The Path”, the route to the main villain’s hideout, and the end fight scene. I think the Battle of Greenland should be in the movie because of all of the action and adventure in that scene. The Battle of Greenland is a video game that simulates a destructive battle that took place 20 years before.…

Imagine what it would be like being held in captivity in a 10’x10’ room and not being to be able to leave for seven years. In the book Room by Emma Donoghue, Joy Newsom had that terrifying experience. The book and movie adaption were similar in many ways, but the movie did leave out some main ideas. One of the most important things to keep the same was the age of Joy’s child, Jack. He was five and it was important to keep it that way because of his way of speaking, everything has its own proper name and he greets them every morning saying “good morning wardrobe, good morning sink” etc.…

Film adaptations have been popular since the time film production began, but film will never compare to the power of the imagination throughout the pages of a book. Hundreds of pieces of literature have been adapted into movies and no matter what, there is always somebody that is disappointed with the movie. The power of imagination is widely distinct among people. An ordinary reader will read a book and imagine the contents entirely different from the way the author intended. That is the same with film makers.…
