On July 21, 1899 in Oak Park, Illinois, Mr, and Mrs. Hemmingway gave birth to what they presumed as a healthy and strong baby. What they didn’t know is that soon their son was so talented with a pen and paper he would soon become one of the most well-known authors of the 20th Century. As for family life, the Hemmingway's lived a very joyful life in a luxurious house where they were both well respected and liked amongst the neighborhood. Ernest spent the majority of his childhood in his hometown with his mother, father, and sister. Ernest finished at the top of his class in all subjects but his English teachers were fond of him and had never seen a brilliance like him before.
