Englehaupt documents polar bears’ bioaccumulation of harmful pollutants from a change in their diet brought on by climate change and she describes the probable increase of long-distance transport of pollutants due to climate warming as well as the dangerous effects climate change will have on the indigenous people of the Arctic because of a contaminated food supply.
