Eric Harris Narrative

“I’m going to stay in the car a few minutes. I have to do something before I go in.” Eric Harris said. His sister, Lena, hesitated before getting out of the car because it seemed odd.

“Alright, please don’t be late again. You don’t want another detention.” said Lena. She walked into the school and into the library for study hall.

The school was very quiet and it was odd, like something would happen at any given time. Usually the school is loud and sometimes obnoxious.

“Hey, did you get the math homework done? I need some of the answers.” asked Corey Depooter. Lena sighed and pulled out her math binder.

“This is the last time, Corey.” Lena scolded. She handed over the math paper and Corey thanked her.

Tears fell down her face as she grabbed her side.

Lena stayed in the library for ten more minutes. She then decided to get out from underneath the table to try and leave the school. Lena scooted out of the table and started limping to the doors. She didn’t see Eric and Dylan, but that doesn’t mean that they couldn’t be lurking.

“Do you want to check the library one more time?” Eric asked. Lena froze in her tracks and looked at her brother.

“Lena?” He asked. Dylan put his gun up, but Eric pushed it down.

“Why did you do this, Eric? You could’ve got help with your problems.” questioned Lena. Both of them chuckled and put their guns up to their own head.

The two pulled the trigger and fell to the floor. Lena stood there in shock not know what to do.

“No, no!” She screamed. She could hear someone come up behind her.

“Lena?” The person asked. Lena turned around and it was someone from her grade.

Lena ran over to where her brother laid lifeless on the floor. She slowly got to the floor and grabbed her brother, then cradled his body.
“Why, Eric? Why?” She cried. The girl from her grade come over to her and put her hand on her
