In a stuffy overcrowded police station of the once quiet town of Littleton, Colorado. A place that was never host to any real commotion until the day of April 20,1999 where two shooters opened fire in the local high school. The press rushing Captain Stephens with questions of how Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold got their firearms. NBC News Reporter, to the captain: Captain Stephens! Captain! Can you tell us how these two young boys got ahold of the firearms used in the shooting? Captain, speaking to the crowd of reporters: We are still investigating close friends and family, so far we have no leads. Katherine, tearing up: No, I can not say that I know how he received the weapons. it is hard to imagine that my baby boy could have done this. Deputy Connors, to Wayne: What about yourself Mr. Harris do you know how your son got the weapons? Wayne, frustrated: I don’t know how he got the weapons. The thing that makes me upset about this is that my eighteen year old son could have even acquired the weapons. Deputy Connors: Sir that is what we are trying to figure out. How your son got the weapons and put a stop to system of how they got them. Well it is safe to say that you do not know how your son acquired the weapons. I will be on my way now I apologize for the inconvenience.
Deputy Connors rises from the couch and heads to the door where he lets himself out. He walks to his car and drives away. Curtain Closes Deputy Connors walks into Captain Stephen’s office as he is going through some background files of Eric and Dylan’s parents history. As Deputy is reading the files, failing to find anything, he looked at some recent purchases of 9mm’s, savage 67H’s, savage 311-D 12-gauge shotguns, and TEC-DC9’s. All except the TEC-DC9 were sold to Robyn Anderson by another person who bought them at The Tanner gun show. A possible piece of this puzzle that Deputy Connors has put together. A loud slam comes from the back of the house and Officer Peterson runs into the backyard just in time to catch Robyn Anderson trying to get away.
Officer Peterson, handcuffing Anderson: You are under arrest You have the right to remain silent, anything that you say can and will be used against you in the court of law, you have the right to have an attorney present before any questioning if you wish ,if you can not afford one there will be one appointed to you before any questioning you can decide at any time to exercise these rights and not answer any questions or make any statements, Do you understand these rights as I have explained them to you. Robyn Anderson is found guilty for illegally selling a weapon to underage teenagers that the weapons were used in a felony. The gun show where Robyn originally bought the stolen gun was put under more reinforcement that every weapon must be ran through the NCIC (National Crime Information Computer).
