Rachel is a victim that was shot at Columbine on April 20, 1999. Rachel was a kind, loving, and forgiving. Rachel wanted everyone to be friends and no one to be bullies or bullied. Rachel’s dad Darrell Scott wanted to continue his daughters’ legacy. So Darrell wrote a book called Chain Reaction. The Columbine shooters were Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold. They were planning the shooting for months. They would make videos about who to blame and why. They hated the world because they were bullied. Their parents never noticed a thing. One won’t forget it so one can’t really forgive it. When one remembers what happened it may hurt them even more. If someone gets mad about what they just remembered they might take it out on whoever cause the problem. For example someone was being rude to the person that they already hurt, the person they hurt might remember what they did and take it back out on them. Some people say that you can just forgive and forget. Which is understandable for something that maybe wasn’t that bad. However, it’s not always going to be easy to forgive and forget. People also say let it go in one ear and out the other but one really can’t. Most kids get told by their parents to let it go in one ear and out the other but one can’t forget something that hurt them more than a little.
In the end you will forgive but it may take some time. Most say forgive and forget, but it will never be that simple unless they give you lots of money. Not everything but somethings are hard to forgive. Things are also hard to forget, and if one can’t forgive one can’t forget. “Forgiveness is the best form of love.
