The author I chose for this project was Eric Carle.I learned many things about Mr.Carle. I learned that his career started with a lobster drawing. My favorite thing I learned had to be a scientific mistake in The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Have you ever realized that in the story the caterpillar emerges from a cocoon instead of a chrysalis. Eric Carle received lots of hate for this from scientists and many parents. When I found out that Eric Carle was a hard-core gardener I started laughing. These were a few of many interesting tidbits I learned about him.
