Eren's Traditon: A Fictional Narrative

Despite the fact he'd been drifting in and out of consciousness for the majority of the day, Armin felt pretty content as soon as he opened his eyes for what seemed to be the umpteenth time. His throat wasn't as dry as it usually was as soon as he woke up from a nap, and he didn't feel as disoriented; he felt safe, warm and secure.

Maybe it was to do with how still and quiet everything was; maybe it was because of how comfortable the sheets felt, warm and snug; or maybe it was because of the arms wrapped around his midsection, solid and strong around him, anchoring him. He then proceeded to breeze his knuckles along Eren's jawline, appreciating how defined his features were. The slow, deliberate movement caused Eren to stir, and Armin immediately stilled, not wanting to wake him. However, much to his dismay, Eren's eyelids began to flutter and Armin drew back his hand.

Despite the guilt he felt stirring in his stomach for disturbing him, he couldn't help but scruntinise Eren's beauty further as Eren opened his eyes. His breath caught in his throat. The vibrancy swimming and pulsating within Eren's emerald orbs sent Armin's heart into a frenzy; it was almost as if they glowed in the dark. "It's not proper to talk about yourself, Eren," Armin returned, a small smile tugging at the corner of his lips. Eren's grin widened the slightest as he reached out and combed his fingers through Armin's hair, the strands soft and smooth between his fingers. Armin let his eyes slip shut, appreciating the affection, and shifted himself closer. When Eren let out a small, tired laugh, Armin opened his eyes again and gazed at him. It was then Eren decided to lean forward and press a series of chaste, short kisses to Armin's face, eliciting peals of laughter from the blond. "Stop," Armin whined, feigning displeasure, and Eren laughed again
