Erechtheion, on the Acropolis, Athens, 421-05 BC
I have chosen to do my essay on the Erechtheion, on the Acropolis. The reason I had chosen the Acropolis temple is because of the beautiful statues represented on the south side of the temple. I also enjoyed reading the history and what the temple represents to the Greeks. Doing some research throughout the module 4 pages 14 and 15 there is a lot of information located on the web. I found that the temple was built in honor of Athena and also for one of the founding kings in Athens names Poseidon-Erechtheus.
