Eragon is a simple farm boy living in the small town of carvahall. This mere boy, simple and ignorant of the world outside himself, is soon to set off on an adventure full of exploration of his mind, power, and the land that is Algesia.
The author, Christopher Paolini was inspired by his mountain home in Montana to write the legacy of Eragon at age fifteen and of the wonderful volatile land of Algesia.

I feel as though at a young age, we are all unknowing of the true world around us, but as we age, we learn and are eventually being more respected for our age and understanding of the world.
We all have a fate even if we don't know it, it is there awaiting us to find it.
Remember everyone has a fate, whether big or small it is discreet waiting for us to find it like a game of hide and seek.
Christopher Paolini conveys many messages of fate and adventure throughout Eragon. The most prominent is about fate and how knowing or not can affect the journey of an individual.
Eragon again is simple like most but at the end of his journey he is a legend, we all have the same opportunity to remain ignorant or become legends. Some take the opportunity, however most choose ignorance.
So the final question is what will you choose? To be simple and ignorant or simply become something much larger through general understanding of your opportunities. What will you
