Eragon By Saphira

The main protagonist is Eragon, all through Saphira is very closely intertwined in the story it is told through Eragon eyes. Eragon came to Carvahall when his mother gave him to his uncle. His father is unknown and has never seen his mother. Eragon grows up on a small farm out of town. Eragon is fifteen when the story starts, but turns sixteen (which is the age of manhood in Carvahall). His personality greatly changes, becoming more patience and a better sword fighter. During the book he constantly struggles with killing people and people dying, until he finds an answer of sorts. He also during the beginning of the book constantly wants things to go back to normal, but he forgets his dream after the long months on the road.
