Have you ever wondered what it's like to live in a society that is the opposite of the U.S? Well in the book Anthem by Ayn Rand, there is a society that was completely swallowed into the deep dark part of communism. There are many things that could be said about the two societies but here are the few that differentiate the U.S and Equality’s society the most; These reasons being freedom, their jobs, and Equality.
Here are the list of reasons that differentiate Equality’s society from the U.S. To start, the first reason being that Equality’s society barely has any freedoms or rights. They all have curfews for everything like jobs and what time they need to be back home and are punished if they break …show more content…
Starting off with the first reason being is the USA's freedoms. The U.S is basically known worldwide for its freedoms and opportunities. They have amendments and the constitution that give people their rights and freedoms. Unlike Equality’s society american citizens have the freedom to say anything that comes to their mind due to that fact that they are covered under the first amendment. Everyone is pretty much able to do nearly anything they desire unless, it's illegal. There are still curfews for stuff like work which is quite understandable but, there are no curfews for what time to sleep or to wake up. Next, the jobs of the citizens of the U.S. People actually get paid to do them! They all work hard for an actual earning. Rather than working just to satisfy the community. Also everyone can actually pursue the job they desire but they have to put in the work for it. Like a doctor or a lawyer. They have to actually go through school and have good grades to get to that job. While in Equality’s society you get it chosen for you even if you don't like it. That doesn't sound really fair or reasonable at all. Now for the final reason that separates the two societies is Equality. In the U.S equality is definitely one of the most important things there is. There have been wars fought to for the equality of everyone. There have been many sacrifices to fulfill it. Because of that everyone is treated the same as the next person no matter skin or race. Everyone has the same rights and everything else you can think of due to the amendments and constitution. Well as much as a lot of people wish for everyone to have equal power that's a different story. Some people like Donald Trump or Barack Obama(our president) have a higher standard of power than others. But not enough power to be the only ones to invent things or choose jobs for others. In the end these are the reasons that separate the U.S from
