I am writing about people who have risked their lives for equality in America. All of these people wanted equality for everyone. These are the people who struggled to fight for equality because of them they changed things for the better of what we see today. They didn’t think it was fair that white people got a lot of things and was treated better. Thanks to them the world has gotten better and everyone is treated fair now. Rosa Parks made a stand by not wanting to give up her seat because she had worked hard all day long and didn’t want to give up. She didn’t want to go to the back of the bus. The bus driver said that she had to move or he would get her arrested and she said “you may do that”. She was told to go to the back of the bus or
