The book Anthem is about one of the main characters named Equality 7-2521. Equality 7-2521 is 21yrs old and he vividly explains about his home. Equality home was a burden for him or any other male figure to be tall. However, in his homeland his bones were a curse.

The book Anthem is about Equality 7-2521. In his homeland, if a male was more than six feet tall, their bones were considered a curse. Equality unfortunately was cursed. In the palace, there was a placed called Home of the Infants, were Equality and the other children lived till they were five. After the Home of Infants, they are transported to a place called Home of the Students. Home of the Students, men must spend their years there to learn until they reach fifteen years of age and then go to work. Equality was not happy about how the learning system

He tried not to understand what the teachers were teaching him. His downfall was that Equality always remembered what the teachers taught him. Equality could even know what the teachers were going to say before they even spoken a single word. Equality even tried to pair his self with a boy named Union, who was known as half brain, so he could act and talk the same as Union did so the teachers would not find out that his mind was more superior to others. More than likely, the teachers found out his plan. Equality went into detail on how he wishes to be in the Home of Scholars. The Home of Scholars has made all the great modern inventions and even new ones. The home of Scholars job is to study the earth and life science. They learn from the rivers, sands, winds, and rocks. There are at home of the students when they are at the end of their year of council of vocations. Those who are assigned as leaders, are to be sent to the Home of Leaders, where they can study and become candidates so they can be elected to the city
