Leigh Elmore publishes her work at Villanova University. In her article she states that men get a higher pay than men but the good part is that woman are represented in politics more. Back then, men dominated that field but now women are slowly coming in the political world. In the issue, Frontiers of Entrepreneurship Research, majority of the studies were of men. Out of the 227 studies that was done 13 of them were from woman who owned businesses and others from the minority group. There are more similarities between men and women than there is differences when it comes to individual characteristics. Education and work experience is the main difference between men and woman. The woman had experience in teaching, retail sales, office administration, or secretarial areas meanwhile the men had experience in executive management, scientific, or technical positions and sometimes self-employment. Men “desire to be an entrepreneur or not work for someone while woman want to balance the work life and the family life” (Brush 13). As a result, their are more differences than similarities between men and women when it comes to business. Some areas woman dominate and other areas of business men dominate. The growth in woman owned business has greatly increased. This basically shows that woman can do anything a men can do.
