Inequality is the imbalance of two things. In Australia there are those with the most and those with the least and is increasing to imbalance. Inequality leads to more unequal access to house, education and health. Low income earns are less likely to live in neighbourhoods that are good for their physical and metal being. Greater inequality has been shown to increase status barriers between people, reducing empathy and community unity. Rises the social exclusion feeling. Australia is one of the highest assets, well develop countries in the world but yet there is still a massive amount of people falling behind. Many Indigenous think eye contact is communication, or some believe that eye contact is considered rude or disrespectful. When gaining equal treatment to the law, different culture practices can affect this. Of course, in court if you don’t make eye contact with the judge you consider as shifty and this is disadvantage that affects their equal treatment by the law. However another culture difference affecting their equal treatment is silence.
