How can two people with so many differences still have some equalities? F.Scott Fitzgerald’s “The Great Gatsby” shows how two different people can be alike in some ways. In this book the two rivals, Tom Buchanan and Jay Gatsby, are two wealthy people who fight for the love of Daisy Buchanan. Even though Gatsby represents the american dream and the rich side of Fitzgerald, and Tom represents everything Fitzgerald doesn’t want to be. Other than their many differences, they both still gave some equalities.
