A Copyright is a type of protection law that is given to people who create their own kind of work. “Copyright infringement is the act of violating any of a copyright owner’s exclusive rights granted by the federal Copyright Act.” This is a law for any person who is looking to start his/her own logo to make sure that the logo they choose is one of a kind and not one that other people have. An example would be the Michael Kors logo. He uses MK on everything that his company creates, and you don’t see any other fashion design company with that same logo. This law could have an impact on small businesses because something that you spent your money, and have most likely been working on forever, will be protected.
The Equal Opportunity Law (Act) “is a that law makes it illegal to pay different wages to men and women if they perform equal work in the same workplace. The law also makes it illegal to retaliate against a person because the person complained about discrimination, filed a charge of discrimination, or participated in an employment discrimination investigation or lawsuit.” This law states that no matter what race or gender you are, you must be treated equally. Everyone has to get paid the same, there is no such thing as a male dominant position. Anyone is up for that
