Ralph began to sweat. He couldn't decide if he should move towards the beach or stay in the cramped, small bush, which was extremely close to Castle Rock. He could only see the ground and the savages' feet, but he began to smell the scent of something burning. He assumed that it was just the savages preparing a feast. All of a sudden he felt his body getting warmer. He tried to ignore it, but it would only get warmer. Ralph was covered in sweat. Then, he saw what was happening.
