Savlian asked for help to take the next stage of the town, but I said I must get martin to Weynon priory first, then I would come and help further, he agreed to give the men a rest and wait. The civilians in the church were very grateful for my assistance as they started to evacuate the city, when I explained to Savlian why I needed to get martin there he agreed and provided a carriage.
On arrival the first thing I saw was more assassins like those who had attacked us in the sewers, the mythic dawn, a bad sign to be sure. We managed to kill the leader and save Jauffre, he’s quite good in a fight, and it appears they have come to the priory for the amulet of kings. Passing the corpse of the prior, we entered the main building to find the amulet of kings was missing as predicted, but at least we had martin safe. He offered me the prior’s horse and asked I escort martin to the blades stronghold at cloud ruler temple. We travelled to the temple

I know this is not normal and must be some sort of corruption, but praying at the shrine in Kvatch made no difference so I know not what to do. I have never been shy, but I have never been like this… depraved creature I worry I am becoming. Ignoring my horse I walk to Bruma and from there caught a ride with a merchant to the Imperial City, if the merchant noticed me rubbing myself during the wagon ride he said nothing. By the time I arrived outside Luther Broad’s board house where Baurus should be, the urge had become a raging force so rather than enter I continued past until I was a good way away and ended up in the park

Pacing back and forth, I pondered how our volleyball fundraiser was going to stay afloat. The council was distraught, unable to acquire more teams, with the tournament in two days. With our advisors and the vice principal leaning towards canceling the event, my council had two choices: get eight more teams to sign up or call off the event. Have you ever encountered an absolutely gorgeous, charismatic hunk-of-man who, upon meeting him for the first time, had you convinced every move you'd made in your life, up to that point, led you directly to him? Did you feel strangely alive at the time; nevertheless fearing you might die because you suddenly forgot how to inhale, becoming light-headed due to a lack of oxygen? Initially, you probably fell into a state of panic as your eyes grew wide and your heart pounded painfully in your chest, but just in the knick of time you suddenly remembered you could breathe all on your own. I walked through Whiterun chatting to some of the locals who I now knew well enough to make casual conversation with, I was interested to note that Mikael, Carlotta and Ysolda now all seem to be firm friends. When they saw me Mikael moved over to my side and admitted the girls had caught him watching, and were so turned on by it, they now let him watch, as being watched aroused them all the more, and they want me to know I’m welcome to join them any time I wish. Nazeem made some comment about me being a low class slut, so I punched him in the face, everyone nearby stopped to laugh; I guess it’s true that nobody likes Nazeem. Maybe I should have split my journal up into chapters like my predecessors, but it’s a little late now, so I’m afraid you will have to make do with what you get.…

The local saying “You think you know, but you don’t know,” or, the pidgin version “You tink you know, but you know nuting,” is a good description of what I thought I knew about my friend Jonalyn Kaufmann, who I’ve known for the past ten years. I thought I knew Jonalyn well, but not enough to know where she came from, who her parents were or recognize her childhood struggles that led to her triumphs that sparked her determination through life. Through this interview, I have come to know more about Joni girl then what I thought I knew about her. Jonalyn Kaufmann’s life provides a perspective of what it would be like to grow up as a Japanese-German female in Central Oahu around 1960s through the late 1970s. Her life provides an understanding of what it was like to feel the aftermath of the Pearl Harbor bombing and a time of Hitler’s reign through prejudice taunts in school because of her ethnicity.…
