The school accepted ages 5-20, and the students spent nearly fifteen years there studying and practicing magic, along with learning the regular curriculum of the American school system. The students would stay at the academy throughout the school year, September through May, and come home during the summer. Lila was in her tenth year now, but many people knew she would possibly skip her remaining years. As the figure stood up, she started to pull down the cloak hood covering her face. “Jeez, even I don't take twenty-minute showers,” she said. “Yo, I'm Cece. The first thing she noticed about the stranger is that she had burn marks around her neck. Cece also had shoulder-length black hair and a small framed face. Her eyes, Lila noted, were such a dark color that they almost seemed black.
