A wise man told me "If you aren't working, you aren't winning." It was my first day of high school, I walked in to school scared. I was very nervous of what was ahead of me. After a few days I signed up to play football. A couple of hours passed and the football coach approached me and asked me if I had signed up to play football, I told him yes I did. I was walking in school one day and coach Adams approached me and said "meet me in my office at 3:00." I told him I would. 3:00 comes around and I'm in his office and he says to me "Tyler I am extremely proud of you, you’re a hard worker and you don’t give up and you will be very successful if you keep it up, not only in football but in life as well." That really opened my eyes and told me I got to keep working hard if I want to be something in my life. People has always told me I'm to little, not strong enough. I just try my best to prove them wrong. And when I do it makes me smile and say "I told you I could do it!" I think if people want to doubt me let them, I'm going to do everything in my power to do the best I possibly can to show them what I can really do.

Now that the offseason has passed and football practice has finally started, I'm feeling confidant, I'm feeling excited to see what is ahead of my career. The first game comes around and we are in Conway playing The Conway Tigers. One of our best players Jarvis Brown our Quarterback tears his meniscus. Coach Adams comes to me and says "Tyler its your time do the best you can." Lets not forget I had never played Quarterback in my life it was my first year and I was very scared. But thanks to the players around me and how helping they were we won the game. The next Monday

Calm composed mind and strong work ethic have been the characteristics of a wise man. Fortunately, I have acquired these traits through football - the sport that I love. I have never been the most skilled defensive lineman throughout high school football, but a composed mind and strong work ethic have given me an edge. In tenth grade, I decided to play tackle football (a sport that I have not played in a long time) and in the beginning everything seemed like a struggle. One example is when the coach asked me to run a route that I have never heard of in my whole life a matter of fact I did not even know what it was, but with time and a cool head I found everything out.…

Playing football, was one of the best decisions i've ever made. I started football it was in the fourth grade and still have the same dream i’ve had since then (to be in the NFL). As the years go by I realized that football is a lot of hard work if you want to be the best, especially in my high school career of football because it gets way more intense than middle and elementary school.…
