Appearance is one of the most influential parts of living things it gives us insight into a character. From the very first sight, we saw a frightening figure encased in lightning, concealed by a mask. The aspect of him choosing to wear a mask adds mystery which is an essential part of villainy. In the beginning, we see him go back in time and kill Nora Allen, the mother of the hero. This action shows that he has no remorse and that he is willing to do anything to ruin the Flash's life. Though this was his most terrible deed, actions don't come without consequences. His speed was then drained so he became stuck in the past. He found a way out by taking Dr. Harrison Wells life, the person who would be responsible for the Flash's power.
