During the experiment of the effeteness of pH on the rates of an enzymatic reaction, we numbered four Erlenmeyer flasks. Each flask represented a specific pH, we added 22 mLs buffer of pH 4 to flask 1, pH 6 for flask 2, pH 7 for flask 3, and pH 9 for flask 4. Noted, the spectrophotometer was turned on and the wavelength is set to 540nm during the preparation. To produce the blank, we added 3 mLs water and 3 drops of Lugol’s Iodine to a test tube to be mixed. The pipette was then used to extract 2.5 mLs and placed into a cuvette to serve as our blank. We then prepared six clean test tubes, each tube represented our time points, and added 3 drops of Ludiol’s Iodine. When we added 1 mL of enzyme solution and mixed it in flask 1, we immediately
