When I think about the word carrer, I know it does not mean a “job”. A job is something you have to do, maybe you might not enjoy it. But a career is something you want to do. There is a great difference between these two words. A difference with sucha great impact in the way you feel about your life. One must remember that your career is who you are, and who you wish to become. You must desire your career, your future, and your success. It is simply not handed to you on a silver spoon like a baby waiting to be fed. So many things in the environment affect the surroundings, the air we breath, and even how we treat it. Environmental Science stands at the interface between humans and the Earth, and explores the interactions and relations between them. It includes a group of sciences that attempt to explain how life is sustained, how humans interact with the earth, what leads to the environmental problems, and how these problems should be solved. The issues in this world are so complex, very difficult to reverse, almost regretting in a way. This is why it is so neccesary to be a part of a group or association that protests these issues. People need to stand up for something, anything that they are passionate about. Whether it be women’s rights, racial equality, pro-life or pro-choice, you need to be heard. That is why i care so deeply about environmental science. That is why I want to reach my goals, studying and taking time filling myself with the information I need to carry out these desires. So many studies allow one to become a great worker for our environment. It is our home, and we must take excellent care for it. It does not matter if you do not want to study any science, it will still be present everywhere you go. Just like math, language, and the arts, science is a knowledge you need. Nothing would make any sense without it. Of course, religion and a belief are very important aspects of life that you need in order to comprehend why life is how it is. How it was created, how it comes to be. Universities such as The University of Texas at Austin have amazing Geosciences studies, and because of this, I am deeply motivated to graduate high school so my career can finally commence.
