In Webster’s dictionary the definition of Environmental Science states that, it is “the branch of science concerned with the physical, chemical, and biological conditions of the environment and their effect of organisms”. In the experiment Environmental Science deals with how the human body will be affected in the environment with or without using electrolytes during an exercise. While conducting the experiment Aleckzar used his brother Alekczar to see if there would be a significant difference when Alekczar would/ would not use or drink an electrolyte like Gatorade. So since Alekczar went running and he lives in a neighborhood so, he can run many distances around in the area he lives in. When running up and down the street, you can see that a lot of cars can pass you up from time to time. As the cars are passing by as your running or walking down the street, they release a black substance/ smoke from the bottom pipe of their cars. That black smoke is called “Carbon Dioxide” or CO2. Carbon dioxide is a “gas that’s always present in your blood, and is a waste product that is generated as your body uses up oxygen, and is expelled from the lungs when you exhale” as stated from “Live Strong”.COM. Although carbon dioxide is present in the human body it is bad if the body consumes too much of CO2, the person can either have permanent injuries to the body or certain death can occur. The reason why it is not good to consume too much of or any of CO2 is because, it affects the respiratory system. The human body takes in oxygen and releases and CO2 already, so it would bad enough if the body was to consume CO2. Then that would mean that the body is receiving too much carbon dioxide and not enough oxygen. So while Alekczar was perusing his exercise method by running or walking up/down the street. He probably could have been breathing in a little CO2. In this case the carbon dioxide cannot affect him because, he not consuming a great amount of it at one time and as the cars are
