1. What did environmental concerns in your local area you learn about?
Regarding environmental issues is really signifies one of the current biggest global challenges and also concerns of our generation.
The impact and the major Environmental issues in Canada are regarding acid rain, pollution of the great lakes, the extraction and use of natural resources from the Canadian shield, and timber resources. Based on the popular Canada statical development and international environmental record, Canada faces a number of environmental problems since it has numerous natural resources that it can use both for its own people and for trade with other countries. Some of these natural resources are renewable and some are not.

What is really confusing me the most is how must Canada find ways to fully or carefully manage and use both types of renewable and nonrenewable of resources so that the environment isn’t damaged. Even though, Canada is one of an industrial country and have the good economy with a high standard of living, but, factories are a source of pollution, and must find ways to keep its industries alive without destroying its environment. For example, Acid rain can affect almost everything and very important to manage and control before causing any major problem.when factories produce many pollutants, Coal burning power plants, cars, and trucks are also polluters of the air. Acid rain can cause many problems in the environment which it can kill plants, damage or kill trees, and also pollute lakes and rivers so that very easy to kill the fish which we are eating, property can also be damaged and in some cities acid rain has dissolved the stone used in statues, which disfiguring the original artwork ("Environmental Issues in Canada", …show more content…

All must realize what is surprisingly the influence and what is all concerning global warming and the world environmental crises in our generation. In my perception, every governmental agency and all private sectors or individuals will be fighting around this big challenge to protect and give the priorities to avoid any outcome, environmental disaster which gives priorities for environmental sustainability by establishing Goals, meet the Targets, and Implementation Strategies.
