If the pollen(which is basically a plants sperm) doesn't reach another plant the plant will not get fertilized. This means there will be no seeds produced from that plant. This is a huge problem for plants because without bees their population will most likely decrease as well now. Humans also rely on bees heavily. Without bees it is pretty certain that humans would not survive for long. If the population of plants decrease, food will surely decrease also. There are billions of people that have to be fed everyday, and unfortunately we rely on bees to pollinate many of our crops. A drop in crops around the world would cut off a lot of food that we need to sustain life on the planet. If bees were to disappear we would slowly start disappearing also. There is just too many people that need food to cut out all of the crops that bees pollinate.
We could probably start pollinating plant by hand ourselves, but that would be very tedious work. The price of fresh produce would also skyrocket. We would already be looking at a shortage of the fruits and vegetables, and if we add into the labor that would have to be put in, to pollinate, the prices would be outrageous for americans. However the prices for produce in Japan is quite high already. I am sure american prices would be comparable if bees went
