Environmental Differences In Bogota

Every country has its own essence and this essence is what makes it a unique and powerful place full of new experiences for those who have never lived there. People can find places where the environment is enriched by nature or some other places where the center of attention is when the sun goes down and the incredible illuminations light up all over the streets. Moreover, when there is a possibility to stay for a long time living in certain places, it is much easier to analyze and enjoy these places with precision. The culture, people, and constructions make the difference between falling in love with a place or accepting the discomfort generated by it. In Bogota’s downtown, it is possible to appreciate how constructions from past decades used to look like. All the restaurants, shopping centers, and stores might look very old from the outside, and it is because the government does not let the owners of these places reconstruct the exteriors since it is considered part of Colombian history. Another important aspect is that since the government does not care much about the importance of the nature in the urban habitat, it constructs over the natural habitats cutting trees, damaging natural reserves, and finally taking away the beauty of nature. On the other hand, Miami’s downtown is considered a modern and luxurious place with it huge buildings, amazing night illumination and beautiful beaches full of life.
