The American car industry has been a long time trailblazer in the automobile industry producing for the first half of the twenty-first century. This significant region was all due to people like Henry Ford that produced a mass production of vehicles on the first assembly line. I would like to tell you about the environmental issues that the US economy face, I would also cover the following areas, global competition, new technology, Emission Effect and Consumer Opinion.

Global Competition

The United States faced competition from places like Germany, France & Japan. According to the post title “Environmental Challenges facing the American Auto Industry “uploaded by Andre Bland. Japan made a trade agreement that allowed them to setup numerous dealerships locations along with providing replacement of car parts all around the US economy. This did not only create more jobs for Americans, it also provided more jobs for the Japanese economy. In 1990 Japan has produced some of the most affordable, reliable & safest cars in the world.

In my opinion, I think that this has sparked the start of a global auto competition among nations. In 2008 Toyota raises over General Motors to become one of the largest car manufacturers in the world.
