On the first of June, six days following my graduation, I plan on moving to Ticaboo, Utah for a summer job in order to help pay for college. I plan on spending two months there before attending college at Northwest College in Powell Wyoming. Once at Powell I plan on studying business administration for two years, then transfer to a four year university. I chose to attend a junior college first to get my prerequisites done for a cheaper price, but still get my degree from a University. Once I graduate with my bachelors I will have all the qualifications for the state of Wyoming to get my CPA after completing the state test. After that I will most likely join the workforce as an accountant or Financial manager while saving money to complete

The average entry level position only pays $41,400 a year. The available job position for an accountant is expected to rise 7% by 2024, that is slightly above the national average. The responsibilities of an accountant include preparing asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information. They also have to document financial transactions, and recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options. They are responsible for payroll and ensuing that all taxes are paid. I chose this career branch because I have lots of potential to be successful and it requires skills that I plan to use a lot in life. My hope is that by working as an accountant I will gain an understanding on how a business function so that i can one day open a business and know how to properly manage it. Even if I never open a business I will be in a career field that will always have a high demand ensuring I will always have a job.
