In particular, some would say Paul isn’t necessarily successful, because his business isn’t sustainable to support himself without another job, however, it is the small steps and failures he took that has gotten him to where he is today. He has taken steps forward and back to represent a business he is proud of and echoes through his growth of character. There is a humbling feature for someone to hold by having the dedication to run ten flights of stairs for a client, successfully spending time to introduce a new product in a competitive market, and going door to door to find a job. It’s visible in the classroom today with my classmates working with one another to support each other’s business ventures in all forms: listening to a business proposals, offering constructive feedback, surveys, and just being a support system. These all are components that are hard to come by on your own. A campus or university offers resources such as making connections with faculty, alumni, and fellow peers, and plenty more.
