Entrepreneur Immigrants

Decent Essays
Being a Business Administration student, I wanted to research on entrepreneur immigrants. I hope to start my own business some day, so I wanted to find out how other businesses started by immigrants, Hispanics and women have turned out and whether or not the have been successful.

During my research, I found a study done by the National Foundation for American Policy which found that “51 percent, or 44 out of 87, of the country’s $1 billion dollar companies had at least one immigrant founder” (Anderson, 2016). I see this very promising because it gives me hope that being an immigrant is not an obstacle to succeed as an entrepreneur.
