Entomophobia is an unreasonable fear of insects. Many who have this phobia likely had a traumatic incident in childhood. If you were young and playing in the park and you find a cockroach. When your parent see you they might scream and tell you to stay away. This will stay in your mind a then any time you see a roach you will scream and run away. This is just one of many ways people get this phobia. Being stung by a bee can contribute to the phobia. If you or someone you know is allergic to bees then getting stung will definitely scare you. If your parents or people you know are fearful of insects they will teach you with their reactions. As a child you learn what to do and not to do by people around you. Even when you are older you can react just like your friend does to “fit in”. This is not you being insecure it's just a normal reactions humans have to our surroundings. This is used to make thing more popular, like a company might say everyone is doing it, this makes you want to do it. So media and others use this …show more content…
They do so much in this world that we take for granted. They are amazing creatures and they help us even though we don’t even ask. They work hard all day and some are only alive for a short amount of time but they are dedicated to what they do. Such as honey bees they help pollinate our plants we eat and more. If there were no honey bees ⅓ of our diet would be gone. They do so much for us and don't even know it. They pollinate all day and fly for miles to find the right flowers. As talked about earlier insects can also help keeps pests out of our homes and gardens. For example a ladybug actually eats they aphids living in and eating your garden. Many wasps lay there eggs in caterpillars and when these eggs hatch the eat the caterpillar that was eating your trees leafs. Many spiders that are in your house don’t want to harm you the want to catch those unwanted flies flying around your house. They are really awesome guys helping us
