My friends mean a lot to me and my desire to please the people who mean the most to me can get in the way of my own tasks or well being. My two closest friends know an alarming amount about me and while I consider many friends my best friend these two people are my closest ones. In our friend group I am one of the more mature ones, but at the same time I can be goofy and laid back. I often feel depressed when I have spent long amounts of time by myself without any friends, and I think this plays into my entertainer personality type. Now that two of us can drive we make plans to go on adventures in the woods and to make memories at places we’ve never …show more content…
I was the only girl on my team, and I remember for a long time I didn’t care because I kept up with the boys, and the boys treated me like one of them. I played coach pitch when I turned six and there was finally another girl on my team. When they asked what number I wanted to be I said six because I was six years old. When I arrived home from practice that night my dad asked me what number I chose and teasingly he told me, “the best ball players wear the number five.” I disregarded him at the time but a couple of years later when I was starting my first season without him I asked my mom what he meant and she told me that five was my dad’s favorite number. Since then I chose five as my number any time that I could and today for the third year I will have the number five on my back while playing my favorite sport this

Criticism of Masculinity in “Split Personality” Ideal masculinity is depicted everywhere in our society from movies to books to comics. It is a socially constructed set of attributes for boys and men to achieve. Some common characteristics include: strength, heroism, audacity, control, lack of emotion, superior, fearlessness, honor, and heterosexuality. I can remember my first year at kickball I was taller than most of the guys because they haven’t hit their growth spurt yet, so everyone wanted me on their team because I was the only girl once again that was better than most of the guys.…
