Globalization in the modern world, as well as the advancement of information technology, has prompted every business to embrace information systems in all their activities for their ultimate success. Decisions require the collection of information to enable the accumulation of assets in the long run. Information processing, on the other hand, requires the business to embrace information systems of the advanced technology. Where a company applies information system technology in its operations, the organization is open for new opportunities and also benefits from having improved decision making by the management. Information systems have a critical role in management decision making.

In our Dog Daycare/ Dog Spa/ Dog Grooming we would embrace the ERP system. Among the reasons for adopting the system include the fact that ERP is fundamental in the management of resources available in our business including the premises, equipment as well as the human resource (McGaughey & Gunasekaran, 2007). On the other hand, MRP would only provide solutions in the provision of our goods and services and control the inventory. The system uses data in the service provision schedules while using data which is gathered from the inventory and bills of the components needed to provide our dog food and services. However, by adopting the ERP system in our Dog Daycare/ Dog Spa/ Dog Grooming business, the system is deliberated to assist in the coordination of resources, information collected as well as the overall procedures employed in running the business. The ERP system in our business will ensure that the resources in the firm are optimally utilized and well managed without necessarily buying more to ensure there is no shortage as it is the case in the MRP system (Aladwani, 2001).

The system would assist in the maintenance of a quality customer relation. The relation would be fortified from the fact that there is proper information processing from data warehousing it is possible to meet the customers ' expectations. Besides proper management of the human resource which is achieved by developing a proper payment system helps by having properly motivated staff. Properly motivated staff attends to the clients with utmost care and provide quality services. Projects management is critical since it allows proper time management which ensures the customers benefit from quality services as they are not rushed through the different products offered in the Dog Daycare/ Dog Spa/ Dog Grooming.
