I remember reading an article a few years ago from a local paper in Vermont about a young star from the south who was recruited so young he told his parents which school he wanted to go to because they had a good mascot and cool school colors. I am also a visual, hands-on learner, flexible, along with adaptive communication skills. This past Summer, I worked as a camp counselor for approximately four to five weeks. Campers’ ages can range from eight to sixty-four; these people were welcomed to camp because they were born with either a physical or mental disability, or both. CSU application open date was October 1, 2017, which means that this week the Transfer Center was busy. I can honestly say that this week was the week I spent the most time in our computer lab assisting students while students were completing their applications. This fall semester all CSU campuses are utilizing a brand new online admission application; therefore, a lot of learning is happening while helping students. Students have many questions that at times I am not able to answer nor counselors and we cannot provide students an answer based on our assumptions instead I have been calling admission officers from various four-year institutions to seek clarification. My grades and test scores don't necessarily fit the freshman profile of an NYU student but despite the mistakes I made in my high school career, I know the potential I hold. I know I'd be a great fit for NYU and vice versa which is why it's my number one choice.…
