This made me upset because women should not be viewed as waiting around for a man there are a lot of women who are doing amazing things in the world without a husband that are not getting any credit. At the beginning of this article Enloe shows the link between women across cultures then halfway through her article she addresses this essay to educated Western women. In the part of the article titled Making Women’s Labor Cheap Enloe begins to speak intellectually about the reasoning of why women get cheap labor. She explains strategies that work well for other countries industrial growth to inform Western women and give ideas on how they can try to make a difference in their industrial growth. I do think this analysis should inspire Western women to act differently because reading this article should open their eyes to what is actually going on in their society.
