Formal Paragraph High school is a particular time of education in a student’s career that allows them to explore interests of their choice along with more complex classes that they are made to take. In high school, there are four tiers to the graduation process. Students go to high school from the general grades of ninth grade all the way to twelfth grade. Wyatt was very intent on working on his project and was startled by Chase’s enthusiasm for a meme he had just found on his iPhone 6. Wyatt quickly took his attention off from his project to look at Chase’s meme on his phone, but that’s when Wyatt’s elbow accidently bumped Chase’s iPhone right out of his hands, causing it to fall to the floor and shatter the screen. The iPhone happened to fall directly flat on its screen. The floor in the media center was covered in carpet, which muffled some of the impact upon landing. One student by the name of Bobby witnessed the accident and said this about the phone screen shattering, “All I could do was watch in horror as Wyatt turned around with his left elbow pointing out to view Chase’s meme when the phone slipped out of Chase’s hand. As the phone hit the floor, it seemed to take a direct impact from the floor because it only bounced up about an inch. I also noticed there was some left over debris on the floor where the phone had happened to drop. It almost seemed like pencil lead tips. After the accident, Wyatt, Chase, and many other people in the media center couldn’t believe what had just happened.” Chase isn’t currently thinking about penalizing Wyatt because they are both in good moods about the unfortunate …show more content…
We were told that the Japanese had attacked Pearl Harbor in Hawaii, which would bring the U.S. to war. After high school, I wanted to go on to be an engineer of some sort, but the draft board had picked me to fight in the war. I wasn’t pleased about the idea, especially since I knew there was a great chance of never coming home again. Before I go on too far, I should say that I’m an only child, which meant that I felt I had to have the insensitive to live through the war to keep our 6 generation farm going. When I was younger, I always thought about becoming a soldier, especially a high specified soldier that was part of a special operations team. I often thought about going to war to help keep my country safe, but in the end I thought it was more important to help out our economy and to live the life my parents had always wanted me to live. That was the plan of course until I was
