Even though I am rich in vocabulary; I always struggle with putting up different ideas together in a paragraph. Various thoughts come to my mind and finally I end up mixing ideas in one paragraph. Despite my understanding that a paragraph should reflect a certain idea and develop that idea with examples, I end up with adding different statements which do not match with the main idea. Consequently, the reader face hardship to understand my main message which I want to convey on the essay. Furthermore, the other challenge most of the time I encounter is following grammar and punctuation rules strictly.

Since I start taking this course, I have started to notice the style of writing the authors while reading anything; mainly, I focus on the grammar and the punctuation use and also vocabulary usage. It helped me to understand how to write a good paper. Our text book, Back to the Lake, is a great material. I always try to read one essay per day in order to improve my writing skills. I also participate actively on the discussion board and get feedback from my classmates. In order to alleviate my grammar problem, I usually read the power point materials which are available in this course material. Additionally, the little Sea Gull has helped me
