My major in Psychology with a Dual Certification in Childhood and Special Education has provided me with the knowledge and skills required for being a teacher. I want to take my passion for teaching and challenge myself to advance in my field through an experience that will prove both beneficial to my students in Spain and in the United States. In addition, I plan on attending community events as well as taking lessons in cooking or dancing. Furthermore, with help from the community, I would like to start an after school soccer team for students consisting of communication in both the English and Spanish languages.
3. PLANS UPON RETURN TO U.S. Describe, in general, your career and/or educational plans after completing a Fulbright Fellowship or English Teaching Assistantship.
In completion of the Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship, I plan on teaching in an Elementary School. With a new knowledge of the Spanish language, I would provide support for English Language Learners. Additionally, I will start to pursue a master’s degree in education.

I began studying Spanish in the seventh grade in middle school. I then continued my education of the language in high school, by completing four years of honors Spanish. Once in college, I enrolled in Intermediate Spanish I and then proceeded with Intermediate Spanish
