I like how you stated that “a language is not just random words that sound different than English,” I agree with you that a lot of people do not have an interest. If you go to other parts of the world, not only they speak their native language but other languages as well. For example, European counties speaks multiple languages including English.
Thank you for sharing a little about your ethnic background. It is very interesting and I enjoy reading it. So, I just looked it up and read a little more. It is truly awful that the massacre happened to the thousands of indigenous people in your father’s home country of El Salvador. Not to mention, everything about that culture is gone.
