English Essay On Hallelujah And Their Nicknames

Hallelujah and Sage were the names of two girls at Grangery Middle School. Hallelujah was called The Angel, and Sage was called The Devil. They acted like their nicknames said. One day at school Sage and Hallelujah barely brushed shoulders. A shiver of electricity ran through their bodies. The conversations around them became a blur. Everybody and everything stop when their eyes turned red for a second. Sage said,”You look pretty today.” Hallelujah said,”Why are you saying that? By the way you look ugly.” Everyone froze in shock. Some of their friends wondered what is going on? One person even fainted in shock, and the eyes were taking off of them to the person who fainted. Sage’s saliva came back into her dry mouth. Duh.” “Sorry about her…” Sage began to apologize. “Excuse me,” interrupted Hallelujah. “As I was saying,”Sage continued,”our teacher sent us down and we don’t know why.” Nuliagh sent them both home. She knew them very well, so she was puzzled by how they acting. Sage and Hallelujah got their bags and went home. Mrs.Snaggerdall asked, “Did you find out what is wrong with them?” “No, I’ve seen a lot of medical problems, but none like this. I’ll think about it and call the girls down early in the morning to explain it to them.” On Monday Sage and Hallelujah both came back to school, and got called down to the office. “Do you have any idea what happened on Friday?”questioned Nuliagh. They both responded, “No.”
Nuliagh told them what she thought had happened. Her assumption was exactly correct. When they walked out of classes they tried doing what they were told. After lunch they tried had tried it 16 times, and nothing happened. They were walking out of a class and Hallelujah flicked her hair, and it hit Sage’s hair! A wave of electricity went through their bodies, and everything was back to normal. For the rest of their lives The Angel and The Devil never crossed paths
