English Class Analysis

How can I be a better writer than before? That was my first question I had this semester. I didn’t feel that I can compare my writing with my other classmates who are all their native language is English, or at less lived their life speaking English. There was so much pressure that made me want to be not good enough, but also better than other students. Wherefore, the first time I met Mrs. Ivy, she was nice enough to made me excited about this class. In addition, I was late a whole week, but she gave me an opportunity to make up for the assignments that I missed. Thanks to this good start and motivation from my teacher, this was one of the best things that developed me as a university student and helped me to improve my language significantly. I wasn’t good with presentations, and I didn’t like to be in front of people and talking about something I'm not interesting on. However, because I'm Information System major I have to do a lot of presentations, which is making me nervous about it. This class give me a chance to overcome my fear and do a presentation with a group, which made it easier for me. Even when I didn’t do the best of what I could while I presented my part of the group presentation, I was happy to finish it and knowing that I can do more with my other classes. The best things in this class were the quizzes and the free writings. I didn’t get a lot of grades in the quizzes, but I love when Mrs. Ivy say we have quiz because they give me a chance to imagine the correct answers. I usually didn’t get them right, it was only once that I got full mark. Also, the free writing give me the ability to write fast what she asked me to write or what I think.
