Synopsis

In Manhattan, New York City, two groups of superhuman groups are rivaled against each other due to their opposite opinions of what to use their powers for. Team Montague believe that they have been given these gifts to help and defend the world from immediate threats. The Capulet Brotherhood believe that they have been given this power to rule over the people that are inferior to them. These teams live in the same part of the city, too afraid of each other’s equivalent power to try overthrow one another, they decided to equally pick a wise leader to make unbiased decisions to keep both teams in check. Enter TYBALT, PETRUCHIO AND CAPULETS

Benvolio: (sarcastically) Oh great, they’re here.

Mercutio: Don’t worry, it’ll be fine.

Tybalt: (Talking to Petruccio and the others) Follow me, I’ll talk to them. (To Benvolio and Mercutio) Hello, I’d like to speak with one of you.

Mercutio: Sure, what do you want to say?

Tybalt: You hang out with Romeo, right?

Mercutio: If that’s how you want to put it, then yes. (warming up his hand)

Enter ROMEO

Tybalt: Ah, speak of the devil. Romeo, I have been looking for you, because you’re my enemy.

Romeo: Why am I your enemy, I have never done you any harm.

Tybalt: Boy, I can not even start on the harm and displeasure you’ve caused

There is no reason for you to be angry at me.

Tybalt: You may choose to deny any harm done to me, but I know fully well about your little schemes to gain power over me. I am going to deal with this, now! (summoning energy from UV sun rays and wielding that energy)

Mercutio: (to Tybalt) If you’re going to try kill Romeo, you’ll have to get through me first.

(Mercutio snaps open his fist, exposing a flame being controlled in his hand)

Romeo: Mercutio, you don’t need to do this.

MERCUTIO and TYBALT fight

Romeo: Benvolio, prepare yourself. Men, stop this fight. Tybalt, Mercutio, the Prince has banned fighting in the streets of New York. Stop, now!

(MERCUTIO and TYBALT’S equal power cause for a very close and tense fight. They use their abilities to counter each other’s attack. Energy field opposing the flames.)

(ROMEO tries to break up the fight. MERCUTIO stops attacking to not injure ROMEO. TYBALT pushes him away and blasts an unarmed MERCUTIO)

Petruchio: Let’s go, Tybalt.

TYBALT, PETRUCHIO and the CAPULETS exit

Mercutio: I’m hurt. Why can’t both your groups just get along and work together? You will remember this as your both teams doing. If you weren’t so against each other, this would never have happened.
