The English 111 course is virtually, an opportunity to grow my creative writing skills and expand critical thinking abilities. Specifically, the focus on inquiry, content analysis, the application of various rhetoric writing strategies, the accurate development of theses and related statements, and the audience awareness are the primary components that ensure steady academic growth. In essence, the sheer focus on critical writing facilities ensure that one learns the English language from a very cognitive supported point of view. Personally, I am now at a better place when organization of thought and the subsequent presentation in all formats are concerned. The most effective pathway to such a realization is the growth of substantive writing abilities. Language absorption and use is a long process. In that case, the very nest enhancing efforts are taking up sustained short courses such as English 111 course. The course is one of those academic designs that specifically target critical writing and communication ends without indulging vagueness. It is possible for a student to complete a 4 year communication program without accessing top notch writing skills. However, it is highly impossible for a committed student to complete an English 111 short course without acquiring admirable writing capacities.
One of the most specific extracts from this course has to do with learning to conduct audience analysis. Previously, prior to undertaking this course program, I did little to think of what my audience would respond on my work. It is now possible to contextualize the content of my writing and imagine the reactions of a reader as he/she goes through my written works. I have dutifully learnt to simulate situations of users going through my writings and then creating possible reactions. This effort has led to quite thoughtful
